Welcome to Alderwood Bed & Breakfast, where I have been hosting people from all over the world since 1979!!  Seems impossible that I’ve been doing this for so many years, but I guess it’s a testament to how much pleasure my late husband and I have received from it.  I enjoy providing a comfortable, quiet place for people to rest at the end of the day, and in the morning, a healthy, delicious breakfast and good conversation before venturing out.

While I’ve been hosting guests, I created a management consulting practice where I facilitated change in a diverse number of New England organizations. For the last twenty-five years,  I have been pursuing a life of travel and oil painting, which I find is a perfect combination.  My art is influenced by so many exciting and beautiful destinations to which I’ve traveled.  A stay at Alderwood gives you an opportunity to see my artwork and all the wonderful artifacts we have acquired over the course of visiting so many extraordinary places (at last count, 58 countries).

 

Alongside me is my precious Siamese cat Bubke, a very affectionate and handsome boy!  Bubke and I look forward to welcoming you to Alderwood.
